Written words are an extension of our identity. Through writing, we create worlds, address pressing issues, and share groundbreaking discoveries. But beyond words on a page, writing preserves ideas that resonate—sometimes for generations.
I was inspired by the powerful stories of the remarkable writers and researchers in my life, like my grandmother and mother. Yet, I saw how often their voices—and those of many others—went unheard. Even in school, disparities in writing and publishing were clear, with class book lists and lab readings reflecting little diversity.

I started to think…
What would happen if the voices of an immigrant mother were shared or the discoveries of a young female researcher?
How would the writing world change?
How would our world change?
Driven by this desire for change, I founded TheFinePrint.
